Happy Holidays everyone,

Global Citizens did a presentation today to 112 grade seven and eight students. We were sharing pictures of orphans from Kenya who received  flip flops as a result of fund raising by these students (we donated 2,000 pairs of shoes.) We played the song “Imagine” to support the PowerPoint presentation. While the students were watching, I realized many of them were not familiar with the song. Yet being a child of the sixties, I was moved to tears time and time again by not only the pictures and the memories of hungry street children, but by the words themselves. As I am prone to do, I allowed myself the luxury of adding my own thoughts to John Lennon’s words! I put a new twist on an old story! (My apologies to John Lennon, I know he will understand.)

IMAGINE….”IMAGE IN” your powerful thoughts and fuel them with your heart felt feelings

Imagine there's no Heaven…………

or you can “image in” your ideal world…heaven as you wish it to be

It's easy if you try……

Well, there really isn’t any such thing as trying…..trying gets more trying…..there only is knowing and believing in that which you know

No hell below us …..

hell within us comes from our judgment against the love that we are

Above us only sky….

Imagine all the people, Living for today

Yes, yes, we can do this together, as one mind and one heart…..the moment, ah yes, that precious, expanded state of awareness….the moment of being present to your presence

Imagine there's no countries, It isn't hard to do………

it is simple and only made complicated by the programmed mind that tells us that life is a struggle, we need to compete, we need to suffer and of course, there isn’t enough

 
Nothing to kill or die for, And no religion too…

everyone embracing, respecting, allowing and acknowledging the path of others

 
Imagine all the people, Living life in peace ……

being peace ourselves, does it all

You may say that I'm a dreamer,  But I'm not the only one……..

so happy to not be dreaming alone…..we are dreaming, as infinite beings of power, wisdom and light…… together a new reality….and the 3D illusion is fast becoming an old dream, being dissolved as we wake up

What were we thinking? IT IS AS ONE!

Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can……..

having spent time in Kenya, Africa, I sure can…….walking into huts where there was nothing, nada, zero…..no furniture, no food, no utensils for eating, no bedding, no extra clothes…oh, there were some rags on the floor for sleeping

 
No need for greed or hunger, A brotherhood of man

and a sisterhood of women……and a humanhood of people

Imagine all the people, Sharing all the world…

As we already are…… only with grace, love, joy, and abundance for all

You may say that I'm a dreamer, But I'm not the only one…

keep on dreaming us anew folks! ………the dream is becoming the new reality…….and it is getting not only clearer by the minute but also stronger as more come on board with their thoughts of magic, miracles and wonder
